I bought a FONT for $300. Did I get jipped or what? All my mates don’t believe that I would spend so much for a font. But I did.

Should I capitalize the FONT or expense it? If I capitalize it, what is its useful life & Salvage value, thus its annual depreciation?

I’m not an accountant For reasons like this. I would rather spend my days not worrying about how much to depreciate assets. I like finance. I care about cash. I hate the accrual principle. Accountants love it.

I will expense the font.
