Make a life-sized yearbook the life of your graduation party

You’ve rented grad party decorations a helium tank for balloons, bought paper napkins with the flying graduation caps design, and ordered a sheet cake with your graduate’s picture. Certainly your efforts merit a B+ when it comes to party planning. But if you want to make the grade for creating an A+ graduation celebration, have all the guests sign a wall with wishful messages and take advantage of our ideas for graduation party.

Like a life-sized yearbook, the wall serves as the ultimate greeting card as well as being a fun way to generate party participation. In addition to personal salutations from classmates, teachers, friends and relatives, the wall can house inspirational phrases from influential people. Write down one or all of the following phrases:

“The horizon leans forward, offering you space to place new steps of change.”- Mary Angelou

“The fireworks begin today. Each diploma is a lighted match. Each one of you is a fuse.” - Edward Koch

“You are educated. Your certification is in your degree. You may think of it as the ticket to the good life. Let me ask you to think of an alternative. Think of it as your ticket to change the world.” - Tom Brokaw

Whatever the message, your walls need not be ruined if you use Clear Dry Erase Paint and Dry Erase Markers from Whiteyboard. These products enable guests to write what they want and for your graduate to live with the inspirational words throughout the summer. Then when it’s time for your child to return to school or enroll at university, you can easily wipe the walls off quicker than you can say, “Go to the head of the class!”
